My husband does oil paints in his spare time doing seascapes and landscapes along with his work in genealogy. He has done alot of work in Greeley checking out the cemeteries for buried confederate soliders and tracing their history. If there is anyone that you would like to check out in your family tree that might have been in the war and would like to join the SCV contact him at: terry_wabnitz_scv@yahoo.com.
Hope all have a great dixie day.

I was born in the north and raised in the north. I am known in some circles as a coppehead.

For those of you that don't know what a copperhead is, it was someone that was a northerner but with Southern sympathies.  As a  secret organization members used to wear copper pennies on their lapels or carry them so that others would know who and what they were, in order to escape imprisonment. And yes I even have one of those pennies, hence the name. I also attend SCV meetings when I can get away from work.

My husband is in the SCV group and attends most of the meetings when he can.  He is Commander of a new camp here in Greeley and would be happy if anyone interested come to the meetings of the SCV, everyone is welcome. If you would like information on a meeting just contact me and we can let you know where and when.

GOD BLESS THE SOUTH!
